Former Liverpool midfielder Luis Garcia has hailed new Liverpool midfielder Fabio Carvalho as being similar to former star James Milner.
The 19-year-old moved from Fulham to Anfield this summer. Carvalho is seen as a future player for the team, and Garcia. Who was in the Champions League final in 2005, sees Carvalho playing in a number of positions and will be a valuable asset of the ufabet club.
“He’s one of those players who can play in a variety of positions. We’ve seen Milner play in midfield, at striker, almost as a goalkeeper,” Garcia told LFC TV.
“I think Carvalho is the same. We saw him almost at full-back and in the middle as we saw the day before.”
“He’s a talented player. and with the speed he has He can play any position on the pitch. If you let him play in midfield that would be even better because he has the ability to score goals.”
The Portugal U21 international was predominantly use as an attacking-midfielder during his time at Fulham. Although he is more than accomplished on either wing.
Liverpool were on course for a historic quadruple last season. But miss out on the Premier League and the Champions League by a whisker. Klopp will be looking to go a step ahead in the upcoming season and win those trophies.
