Manchester United defender Harry Maguire admits working under Erik ten Hag is not an easy job.
The Red Devils showed great pre-season form with a 4-0 win over Liverpool, followed by a 4-1 win over Melbourne Victory amid the excitement of fans in a new era ufabet club.
Maguire pointed out that working under the Dutch boss is not easy. But what is being done is to prepare for the opening game of the new season next month.
“It was difficult. Running is very difficult but we are looking forward to the new season, Eric and the staff brought in the idea and in the first two games you only saw little of that approach.
“We are working together to prepare for the first game of the Premier League, that is important. Everything we do now is to build for that first game.”“It’s been tough. The running has been hard but we’re really looking forward to the new season,” Maguire added. “Everyone knows last year was nowhere near good enough but it’s a fresh start and we’ve got a big season ahead.
“Erik and his coaching staff are bringing their ideas and the first two games you’ve seen little glimpses of the principals.
“We’re working towards being ready for that first Premier League game, that’s what matters. Everything we’re doing now is building for that first game.”
